Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod 2025

From Tuesday 23 May to Sunday 18 May, 23 talented and enthusiastic students travelled to Queensland to represent the College at the Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod. Over five incredible days, students participated in rehearsals, performances, shopping trips, and even enjoyed a fun-filled day at Dreamworld.

Hannah Jackman and Karl Young (Year 12) proudly performed their solos, showcasing their talents. Our group routines included hip hop, jazz, and lyrical, all of which were met with positive feedback from the adjudicators. We were thrilled to secure a 4th place in hip hop and received Highly Commended awards for both jazz and lyrical.

This was our second year performing at the Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod, and it’s safe to say the experience was just as exciting and rewarding as the first. I am incredibly proud of the students’ dedication, teamwork, and professionalism throughout the trip, and I’m already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
