Rice Resource Centre

The Rice Resource Centre, is named after Blessed Edmund Rice, founder of the Christian Brothers.  It strives to provide students with opportunities to engage with recreational reading, as well as quality resources to support their learning.

The library is a quiet zone where students can read and study during breaks.  It’s located on the upper storey of the Mary Building and is open every day from 8:15am until 4:00pm.

The Library Collections

The library has a large fiction collection, catering to different ages, reading levels and interests.  New books are added regularly, and students are encouraged to contribute ideas about resources they would like to have in the library.

A curriculum focussed non-fiction collection is available to support students with their schoolwork.  This includes textbooks to assist senior students undertaking Year 11 and 12 TASC subjects.  In addition, the library has a wide range of interest focussed non-fiction resources, including biographies and magazines.
