Welcome to the MacKillop Catholic College Library
The Library at MacKillop Catholic College is an important part of the school community, serving the information and research needs of the students as well as providing them with recreational reading matter. There are non-fiction, fiction, reference and magazine collections as well as a much utilised vertical file which holds current news items. The fiction section has a comfortable reading area with old favourites and new releases to be enjoyed. The library is a hub of activity during recess and lunch breaks with students enjoying the variety of games on offer as well as using the time to borrow books for the College's Literacy Enrichment Program and for their own recreational reading.
There is also a teachers’ resource collection to assist the staff with lesson planning and development. As well as this there is an extensive DVD collection that staff are able to use to extend and enrich the curriculum.
